The Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic reached a consensus with the Medical Trade Union (LOZ) on seven points of the memorandum. This was stated by Minister of Health Vladimír Lengvarský at a briefing after the meeting with representatives of the Health and Safety Authority.
“The solutions that are proposed are acceptable to both parties,” he said. He expects it will take another one to two days to finalize the technical details with other ministries. “In the first seven points, nothing prevents the memorandum from being signed,” the minister claims. According to him, only the eighth point remains problematic, namely the increase in doctors’ salaries, which, however, is not within the competence of the Ministry of Health.
We will update the report.
