In most of Slovakia, you have to watch out for ice at night. The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMÚ) issued warnings of the first level.
They are valid from 11:00 p.m. until Friday (25 November) until 8:00 a.m. for the Banskobystrický, Košický, Prešovský and Žilina regions, but also for most of the Trenčín region.
“Ice formation represents a potential danger for human activities (transportation, movement of people, infrastructure – various types of lines). The occurrence of ice is common at the given time of year and area, but it can cause minor damage“, warned the meteorologists.
