A projection is being projected on the facade of Bratislava Castle on the occasion of Friday’s International Day of War Veterans. On this occasion, the Presidential Palace is also illuminated in red.

The world commemorates the anniversary of the end of the First World War on November 11 as the International Day of War Veterans. Until then, the bloodiest, four-year-long conflict in human history was ended by the armistice, which was signed on November 11, 1918 at 11:11 a.m. in the restaurant car of the French General Staff in a forest near the northern French city of Compiegne. The symbol of veterans is the poppy flower.
